  • It's already happened. I'm old.

I saw Dr. Dave's MX thread and I decided to look up my old BMX gear. I saw all of the jumps and felt nostalgic.

Nostalgic means old. Suffice it to say half of the shit I have is labeled "old school" and "vintage" on eBay.

On another note, my "stupid old BMX bike" is worth $2,800.00 for insurance purposes. Noted for reference.

Wait, you still use your car seat, but don't touch your BMX?! What's wrong with this picture?

My 10 year HS reunion this year was my first official feeling of old, then realizing I graduated college and moved out of DFW 5 years ago made it even worse.

I dumped a 20" PK Ripper and Hoffman Condor frame, both of which are worth $400-500 a pop. I destroyed another Condor frame, a DK General Lee, an Elf Doublecross, an Elf ZR1 turquoise, an S&M Dirt Bike, a Standard TRLS 250 and an SE Racing looptail PK Ripper. I bent up a few sets of cranks, bars and forks... man that shit was cheap back then. I fucked up a year at UT Austin worth of BMX shit!

I have a fit bike co bmx bike that I've been riding around lately. It was my brother's, but he left it at my parents house with some issues so I decided to start riding around the neighborhood when I'm bored.

Sounds like some good times. The S&M line was probably the best bikes I ever rode. Out of the ones you mentioned the elf and pk for sure make you old.

I have a brand new tnt hwa fong daddy I bought simply for hanging on the wall as its bad ass in design for its time.

This thread makes me miss my bike. Wish I would have kept it but I let it rust away when I left home after high school. It was a redline flight pro xl. Early 2000ish model

<---doesnt have a bike anymore....gave it away when I realized I was fat and out of shape...and it was a Walmart bike, so not too hard to let go.
