Anyone had Pollo Tropical before?

I eat at Pollo Tropical when I go to Jax. It's usually pretty decent for what it is. Maybe you just hit a shitty location, or an off day? Cuban food in general is more bland than Mexican, when it comes to spices.

I refuse to eat Taco Bell. I'll eat the breakfast tacos at Taco Cabana but the rest of their food is a bunch of processed shit. That fake ass chicken they have is disturbing to look at. Any hole in the wall taco joint blows those places away and hell they are usually just as cheap for real food.

what the fuck is wrong with people? how can a place that serves such bland, garbage ass food stay in business.. yet alone thrive enough to have multiple locations?

I had a "tropi" bowl yesterday for lunch, and threw the thing away after just a few bites. Disgusting rice, mediocre (at best) chicken, and the most bland toppings ever. If chipotle had a genetically deficient brother, Pollo Tropical would be it. If you ever encounter this abomination of a restaurant, let this serve as a warning.

That's how I feel about Cane's. 1 sauce, 1 kind of food served in only 1 default seasoning. Without the sauce, bland.

CA is the only place I've gone there and don't understand why everyone hates it. Their burgers and fries are fantastic.
