Dismissal price for State Inspection

I know I know, don't break the law blah blah blah. Got a ticket a week ago for my inspection being out. Went and got it inspected, then went to go get it dismissed and it was $20. Given, it's probably been 5 years since I've had to do this, but one other time I did, and it was only $10. Do different cities have different prices or did it go up between then and now?

Garland was $105 for me about 8 years ago. I highly doubt it has gone down in price. That's even after showing proof I took care of it.

Damn. Whenever it happened last it was like 2005 in NRH and it was only $10 to dismiss, that's why I was wondering if it is based on the city.

I've had several dismissed in Arlington, Midland and Odessa all have been $10. It has been about 3-4 years since I've had one so it wouldn't surprise me if they have gone up.

**Edit: if it was in Euless, you might wanna take out a second mortgage. Those fuckers rape ya on citation costs. I can only imagine a dismissal fee there...

i think that means your insurance was expired over 60/90 days.

In Iowa a dismissal is 60 bucks. This is for any ticket.

Its 50 for some fee and 10 for something else.

I used to gladly pay 10 bucks in texas for forgetting to change the sticker/put insurance card in the glove box.
