Most motorcycle cops. (Especially black bike cops) do ride.

Why shouldn't he lose his job? He is encouraging the exact wreck less driving he's supposed to prevent with a lot of people around. Am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with it? There has to be consistency...

Why wouldn't people turbo their Harley?

The punishment should fit the "crime." If he's otherwise a good officer, then canning him doesn't allow for him to learn from the mistake, and become a better officer. Wreck less driving is exactly what we want, reckless driving, however, is dangerous.

Have you not seen the stories about cops shooting unarmed people and keeping their jobs? Most getting paid time off.

That's awesome. No I do t think he should have lost his job as there may have some slight speeding involved but nothing honestly reckless.

I see turbo baggers all the time up at Longhorn HD. Nothing new. But, the air cleaner is on the right side of the Harley, and do you see a turbo on that bike? No. All the turbo kits I've seen are always on the right side of the bike.
