Just go check the dumpsters of any store too small to have a compactor. Dollar stores, CVS, Wallgreens, etc. Just don't take anything out of the recycling bins.

Check craigslist. My brother just moved and he found a ton of nice moving boxes on there for free. When he was done, he gave them away on craigslist.

This. Typically good boxes too, not weak, flimsy pieces of shit.
