                The boss nor the news will care if the guy didn't present himself in uniform or as an officer. If it is what the officers wife told him while he had his dick in her, then that has nothing to do with him confronting his wifes boy toy. My guess is he saw the uniforms in the closet the day he banged her since he didn't say he showed up in uniform.

                              Because the news never twists stories to the extreme, so you're right, they would never have a headline "Fort Worth Police Officer accused of harassing cheating wife's lover." No, that would never happen since he might not have had his uniform on for any of it.
