So a total of $13,443.60 without Tax and title fees.
My adjuster/investigator stated Tax and title fee would be added after a payout price was agreed upon.

I asked where she came up with that price and I was told they checked comparable vehicles and averaged the prices.

But I have been to a few dealerships that have the same year maxima, same options, color, mileage within 3,000-4500 miles of mine, and the lowest price has been $14,990 + ttl.

I had each dealership write up a buyers order for me, but the claims specialist said she would do another search and check fair value in my area???
She's yanking your chain, stand your ground. Don't settle for the low end of what you have. You can ask where she got her figures i.e. Autosource or CCC. You can prove her figures are low with the figures you got from the dealers.

Hay Burner - I've got 3 prices (buyer's order from separate dealerships)

Just waiting to hear back from the claims specialists.

        Read this thread.
when you are on a message board, receiving e-mail, snail mail, text messages, so on, so forth, etc... does it change your opinion of a person when they seem to have no clue when it comes to spelling and grammar? does it make them seem lazy when spell check and grammar check are readily available in most cases? it

You could get a couple more. Three does show a trend especially if the lowest is $1500 more than what they are offering. As long as the car are truly comparable you can show that you are owed more. Do you know how the came up with their offer? Did you get a copy of it?

I'm in the marshall & atlanta, tx area.... Not many dealerships with the same year maxima.

I plan on going to the Nissan dealership and getting a write up on what their value states.

Get the insurance company's evaluation also. The y maybe getting their comps from the DFW area. Since you are more likely to purchase the replacement in your area then that is where the comps should be from. Get the other two on paper too. That is your proof that their offer is low.

                        Hayburner -

Faxed all my info to them as far as prices, quotes, and research I've done....

But their figures are from Autosource... After doing comparable search again, the average price NOW is $13,643.63 with 6% TAX!!!

Starting to get pissed and switch to being a complete asshole.

Where are they getting their comps from, what area? How are they rating your car as a private party sale or retail? They already offered the higher price they cannot go below that. The dealer quotes reflect an asking price what they actually take may be a bit lower.
Don't switch to asshole mode just yet. The end of the month is upon us she wants that file off her pending list. Remember you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Speak her supervisor, get your agent involved move up the chain, but most important KEEP YOUR COOL!

Autosource and the comparable are done in my region (Tyler, Marshall, Atlanta, & Texarkana, Tx)

They are going by what the vehicles have sold for within the last 90 days. And averaging the prices out.
                              Same year, mileage options.

How did they rate your car? Average Private or Retail.
Do you have a copy of the evaluation? How do their comparables actually compare to your car? SE=SE GXE is not an SE.
What condition was your car in? be painfully honest.
