Where to sell some freon legal?

I have 10 cans of R12 and one large bottle of R22. I don't know any HVAC people. Anyone interested or can I legally sell this on CL?

I figure $5 a can for the R12 is fair. What is the R22 worth?

Yeah prices seem to be anywhere from $5 - $15 depending on who thinks its gold. I'm checking for a friend, its not mine.

This. I haven't had to buy any the last couple of years since I converted mine to 134, but In picked up 6 cans from a friend for ~$75 in 2006, which was a steal.

Hell, I would throw them on ebay individually and see what they go for. $5 is insanity.

To legally posses R-22 your supposed to be certified, anyone caught with it can get a fine of up too $10,000, prison time etc...I have never heard of anyone getting popped for it but just sayin....and R12 is worth some money i see it all the time on CL.

Since R22 is being phased out the price has gone way up. A 30lb cylinder is pushing well over $200.00 with tax. Just do us all a favor and sell it to a legit a/c contractor, too many illegals running around with guages pretending to be a/c repair men tearing up equipment.
