    Based solely on the video, it did seem to be over the top to shoot the dude. I'm sure at least one from the local police force will disagree.

                I kept waiting for him to lunge, then I remembered that description came from the police report.

                Fifty years ago they got away with this stuff all the time.

                        I want to see the dashcam footage from the squad car. It will have audio. Who wants to bet the video doesn't exist? The guy they shot is no sweet angel....but THAT was NOT a justified shoot.

                                I called DPD last night to chew on them. I didn't get 2 sentences out before the jackass hung up on me. I called back again and he wouldn't answer.
