If I person says "I'm going to kill you....etc...etc...etc" is that justification to shoot them? Knife or not? Being aggressive or not?
I know that's coming across like a harsh question. I don't have coffee yet, so I'm not close to being eloquent. I just really am curious if that's enough reason.
I should of elaborated more. I'm saying the video is bad so I can't tell if he has a knife in his hand or not. Saying he does have a knife in his and he is saying "I've been waiting for you pigs to show up so I can gut you with this knife" I would take the guy serious.
But with that being said the video doesn't show that.

And that is justification for shooting a citizen who is standing still? If he lunged, as the police report stated, I could understand that. But he didn't lunge. The involved LEOs know he didn't lunge or move towards them in any way. And they both lied on the police report in an attempt to cover it up.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Sec. 9.34. PROTECTION OF LIFE OR HEALTH. (a) A person is justified in using force, but not deadly force, against another when and to the degree he reasonably believes the force is immediately necessary to prevent the other from committing suicide or inflicting serious bodily injury to himself.
(b) A person is justified in using both force and deadly force against another when and to the degree he reasonably believes the force or deadly force is immediately necessary to preserve the other's life in an emergency.

Originally posted by jluv View PostThat alone is no justification to kill that person. Maybe if you could clearly see exposed explosives or something that looked just like it, and the guy was making actions that appeared as if he was trying to trigger a device, then maybe. But you can't just shoot someone for wearing a coat and expressing their religious beliefs. Not in this country with freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Besides, that would be a reaction based in paranoia and fear. That's exactly what those assholes want to accomplish with their terrorism. They want us scared and jumpy so we'll start making stupid decisions and even start limiting or negating the freedoms that make this country what it's supposed to be. It's been happening ever since.

I'm not sure why you're gong back to explain your post or its intention. It wasn't difficult to understand the first time.
