One guy doing four mount/balance in 20 min is pretty damn impressive. Usually takes 2-3 guys to knock it out that quick

should be able to buy the spoons and bbs for less than $20. not nearly as hard as you might think. if you dont care about scratching the wheels just use long flat screwdrivers

I've mounted/balanced way too many tires than I care to admit. I wish the machines were cheaper, as I hate throwing away money having some jackass do it that doesn't give a shit. My advice to you is to remove all of the wheel weights, tape, brake dust, etc on your wheels before you bring them to whatever tire place you choose. Get the back side of those wheels as clean as possible!

I've got a little mom and pop shop I use for all my wheels and tires. They're really thorough and do exactly what I ask them to.
First set of 35" 20's I had them mount, they charged me $80. I paid cash and told them I didn't need a receipt.
Next set was $50.
Last set was $40
I'd be fine paying $80

Oh one thing I'd like to add about why I would take them to Discount Tire over a corner shop is that if anything happens like they scratch up your wheels, break or strip a stud, or pretty much anything; Discount will take care of that. Can't say that most corner shops will do that or care much about losing your business.
