Also, it played out kind of quick and not everyone may know what is going on. Hell, maybe she was being a real bitch and people thought she was being arrested for something real.

I did not know anything wrong was going on until his comments to her while twisting the cuffs...etc.

Funny, I was about to use the same analogy. Not everyone is as combat ready as you. Guaranteed if you would have went for a police officer's gun you would end up dead or in jail regardless if the cop was at fault or not. "Everybody got a plan until they get punched in the mouf..."

If you can guarantee you would be able to control the situation then why not? I still think you're trolling, but what hell. I've missed you.

Is it sad that I feel surprised that the cops who showed up sided with the woman? It probably has something to do with the geography. In Chicago they would have beat her ass too. Law enforcement is in a sad state in this country when you have guys like this drunken slob doing the job.

It's really too bad Denny this story and your return didn't happen around officer gingerbread's latest nervous breakdown. That would've made for some excellent reading.

At least you got your hands away from your sock covered wee wee for a while to chip in your valued two cents. Thanks again

If anyone other than LEO would have stepped in, they'd be charged with assaulting a peace officer and imprisoned if not tazed and shot because the 'officer' felt threatened by the unruly mob while he was subduing someone. I can see the spin and how it'd be played.

Then the story would read "Off duty officer, while engaging in an arrest, was attacked by a mob inside of a club. The officer, when he was securing a woman, was confronted by the group who viewed the officer's actions as inappropriate. The officer, in fear of his life, drew his service weapon and fired multiple times. An internal affairs investigation has said the officer's conduct is in accordance with established protocols."

Yeah, everyone talks about "I would have done this or that." It's sad that it comes to this, but I fear wrongfully going to jail, having to hire an attorney, missing work and possibly getting fired, all because I "wanted to do the right thing."

And not just going to jail but having the ever loving fuck beat out of you by his backups that YOU called to help you who saw his badge and his weapon drawn and immediately took his side. I'll be honest, in the military if you are called for backup and your guys have their weapons drawn and you get their, you immediately draw down and contain the situation and figure out what happened later.

The ONLY ones who could have stopped him without lawfully getting shot was the other LEOs. This would have been forgotten completely if it wasn't for the video. He'd have gotten a private slap on the hand and it would be swept under the rug. Since there's a video you can't do that as easily
