Thanks everyone. I called her Mom and Sisters today. Probably the hardest thing I've ever done explaining over the phone what happened. The CACOs that showed up to the house I guess didn't explain what had happened past her daughter was dead from a motorcycle accident.

Having to explain to a mother that her daughter was hit by a truck and I couldn't bring her back, was the hardest single thing I've ever done in my life.

I have a bike shop and I've had a customer die that I helped get into riding. I felt the same as you. Although it wasnt my girlfriend and I did t see it happen. I still felt guilty for a time tho.

As others have said you can't blame yourself and maybe you can find some sort of peace in knowing that at least you were there with her in her last moments.
