Not sure where to start with this. The poster previously known as "Jewmadbro" knows about his but not a whole lot of folks do outside of my close friends and family.
The girl I had been talking to and dating out here in California for a while decided she wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle. I spend a large portion of free time camping off the motorcycle and she wanted to share in that.
She took the MSF course and bought a DRZ400. Everything was golden.
We went on our first campout last night in the backwoods. She seemed to really enjoy herself today. Around 11Am today she lowsided in a corner on the way to Julian, CA for a late breakfast and was run over by a GMC Yukon.
I was there with here to the very end providing rescue breaths but no CPR or breathing was going to save her. The damage by the SUV was too great.
An accident that I've walked away from multiple times killed someone else on the first time.
If I would have left camp 1 minute later or 1 minute earlier she would be ok. If the SUV would have left it's destination 1 minute earlier or later she would be ok. Banged up but ok. Instead she lays on a slab at Palomar Memorial Hospital as we speak never to breathe again or hug her Nephews again.
I can't help but think that I played a large part in this and the thing that hurts the worst is that her family will never get to say good bye.
This probably isn't the forum for this but I needed vent.
Sorry guys.
