    I'm sorry for your loss Aaron and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. 8 years ago I lost a good friend to an alcohol involved boating accident, he just couldn't put the bottle down and in the end, he took 2 lives with him. Though I don't know exactly what you're feeling, I've been in a similar situation.

                          As if that weren't bad enough, I just found out that a good friend of mine who has been sick for a while was told by his doctor recently that, "a month is optimistic".
