Yeah we spent $20 on water through the day. Fun event, but that fucking radiant glow of the sun off those aluminum bleachers can go fuck itself.

Was also impressed by the pilon workers, I figured once torn they'd be rolling out a new one, surprised they were able to fix them.

Pilons are in nine different sections. They zip together.

I will as well! They had 3 barrels of ice water set up as a cooling station, they were dipping towels in and handing them out. They ran out of towels and roped the ice barrels off to stop people from dipping their old towels in! Stupid.

Those aluminum seats reflected the sun! Brutal!

I was there riding one of the fire trucks.
Pulling these races into TMS was certainly a feather in the cap of Fort Worth as well as the track.
