tell the vet you want him/her on steroids. My dog also has meningitis and steroids work. Hope this helps. Ps my dog is on Prednisolone.

I had to bring mine back from deaths door step. My wife and I would have to feed him with a spoon and give him water through a syringe. Give it a little time for the meds to work.

My mom called this morning and told me that she is back at the vet today and showing increased and stronger neural activity. We are so close to the turning point, and as soon as we get over the hump I'm positive she'll make as full a recovery as possible. Until then, we're still in the woods, but she's fighting, and so are we.
