    A badge visable to be openly carrying?

    Just saw an older guy, probably late 50s, in what appeared to be an army navy black shirt and hat that said police. No badge and a compact polymer gun on hip. His pants looked fairly faded and worn.

    I ask this because when I normally see an LEO in the all black they will have a badge on the belt. And it will be a utility style belt. I'm wondering if this guy was impersonating just to carry

    badge must show if open carry.

      Correct. Either on there belt near the weapon or around there neck on a chain. Clearly visible.
