It was a good burger, and I like that they cook it the way you want it done, not well done to avoid getting sick, LOL. Medium rare FTW!!!

Good ole bacon cheeseburger, jalapeno's, lettuce, tomato and mayo (don't really like mayo, but it is high in calories, and I'm trying to increase my intake, a lot!). Cajun fries were good too, better than 5 Guy's cajun fries.

Glad you liked it Rob! When I was moving out of the last house, Craig and me(not Chili) were ravenous and stopped in there. It was one of the best meals of my life, but could have been just because we had been working so hard. lol

They DO have a badass burger. Rob, I suggest that place for sure. It's also in the old Vandergriff Chevrolet building.
lol... It is a good burger there, chicken fried bacon on a burger!

Twisted Root is pretty damn good as well.

Cool. Sounds good. You should give the Grease Monkey place a chance sometime too...

A good one that's been around for many years is Airways on Collins just south of I-30. I still need to hit Chophouse sometime soon.

May try it next week, Tuesday if I can. Only day I'll be in the office tho, so depends on how busy it is. If not then, the following week probably Thur or Fri.

Hell, I'll give all these places a try over the coming month or so! Trying to up my calories, it's fucken hard to do! Greasy cheeseburger sure helps!

They are good, just not worth the price to me. My family of three was about $40.00 for three burgers, three fries, one water, one soft drink and a shake and that was two years ago.

                              Fuck that...

Toms, at Cooper and 30 makes some damn good specialty burgers as well.
At that intersection you asked about I would head north to MUB for sure.

Central Arlington - Twisted Root and the Grease Monkey are great.

                                West Arlington - Chophouse

I tried Airway once and didn't care for it, guess I will swing back in sometime.
