    Flu shots... Do you get them?

    I've never had one. Just kind of curious how many of you get a flu shot every year.

          I have in the past, but no more. I've gotten the Flu months after getting the shot over flu season more than I've gotten the flu any other time.

            Got one a few days ago, but only because I was already there getting my immunizations for EMT school in the spring.

                      None of the above.. I get them sometimes, but when I don't it's just out of laziness. I don't get sick often though, so couldn't really say if I get any benefit out of them.

                        I just got one today. I had the flu 2 years in a row. Every year since then I get a flu shot and I haven't had it since. I work at a school and am around sick kids every day. Our school nurse brings in a clinic to give shots 2-3 times a year and with our insurance, flu shots are free.

                          Same here. I just drink an extra kombucha when people around me start getting sick. I'm fully aware that kombucha may be a scam too though....but I'm good with the placebo effect.

                            I'm in healthcare and get them yearly. I had the flu once years ago when I didn't get the vaccine and it lasted about 2 weeks.
