Sportlines are supposed to be something like 1.7" front and 2.0" rear. I couldn't stand the funny little gap over the front tire (look at the first pic I posted) so I trimmed the springs a half coil. Now it's lowered about 2" all the way around. Yes, Tokicos are shocks and struts.

So why did you change shocks and struts? You have a better reason than cause you wanted too? lol

Because lowering the car means the stock shocks / struts are no longer operating in their optimal designed range. Not to mention the improved performance of upgraded / aftermarket pieces.

LOL! It is pricey, but it also the best. You can firm up the shifts by just using the Barton bracket. It's $100 through AM - http://www.americanmuscle.com/barton...cket-1113.html

The stock shifter isn't bad at all, just needs a little help.

Again, having had an MGW on my old Mustang for about 5 years, I will suggest that although it is pricey, it is worth it. I absolutely loved mine.

Actually yeah, I did it just because I wanted to. The car rode fine with the stockers (it is a Brembo GT and has somewhat better shocks/struts than a standard GT) but I wanted the adjustability. Right now I have them on Cadillac-soft, but I can make them rattle your teeth out.

I agree completely. I've had MGW's in my last 4 Mustangs. But I didn't buy one for this car. They weren't shipping the week that I was ready to buy, and being antsy, I really wanted to spend some money. I bought the Barton, along with the bracket, and haven't really regretted it. Really good shifter, for considerably less money.

So you had the stockers on when you put the springs on? I think that's what you're saying lol
