And as I said to Eric in that thread, there was no "you guys" involved in this. It was me and me alone. I have explained what and why I did what I did several different ways in that thread. If that still does not make sense, or you want to complain further, do everyone a favor and feel free to PM me directly.

I was suggesting a PM over making the comments general to all mods, and instead of having it carryover to 15 other threads, obscuring them too, though I am sure it will anyways. Or at least start a new discussion thread to point out the obvious.
BTW, I don't assume you are worked up and hope that Patrick and Eric aren't either, since in the grand scheme of things the situation would be pretty trivial to get worked up over. I don't mind that friends disagree with my actions, and don't mind discussing it, so no need to generalize the complaints to be directed at "mods" when it's only about my action. I'd hate for the other guys to get heat because of my choices!

Speaking of tint, its a good idea to tint the windows on your new 5.0, it keeps the interior nice and cool in these hot ass Texas day's.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

Back on topic..
Is MGW making shifters for these still? I know I loved the MGW on my 04 GT, and based on that experience alone would probably try that out if I were to get a new Mustang.
On the octane improving performance thing, based on the comments above, am I to assume that the newer Mustangs have the variable timing or whatever it is called? I know Corvettes, among others have been doing that for years, but didn't know that Mustangs were now too. If so, that's cool!
For the fuel price difference vs gains, I personally would probably only run 93 vs. 87 if I had a custom tune designed for 93. But that is purely personal preference.
I was not a big fan of the 05-09's, liked the 10's and up a little better, but am really digging the newest iterations. Just wish I had the extra skrilla to afford a brand new one.
If I bought one there are only a few things I would even bother changing:
Lower (to include anything needed to accomplish, like panhard)
Tune
Shifter
I think the last round of changes they made to the bodies are fantastic, and addressed the things I was not a big fan of.

I waited a while on my old GT, just because I was worried I wouldn't like the look, but after getting it done finally I couldn't believe I had waited so long!
