  • Help me out

I am thinking about getting out of my mustang. I currently own a 2010 GT500, black on black. I am considering selling it, and buying a classic car. I am a big fan of 60's era cars, but not stuck on them.

What are some good websites for classic cars? I'm curious to see what websites you guys go to when you want to see classic muscle cars. I've always loved 61-65 tbirds, but am really open to any ideas.

So, what you guys got? I would like to keep it under 40K. Show me some websites and cars that you like.

This a daily or a toy? I think I'd stick with the GT500.

Just a couple of the cars I wouldn't mind owning. But, if this is for a daily, then I agree with above, stick with the GT500.

Toy. The car is awesome, don't get me wrong. However, I've always wanted something from the 60's. I may be crazy, but that is what I'm drawn to. I'm not expecting the performance, handling, or comfort of my current car. I don't drive the damn thing though. I work too much to enjoy it.

The way I see it, pass it on to someone who will enjoy it. In the meantime, get something I've always wanted. I may seem crazy to you guys, but FUCK it.

Nah, that isn't crazy at all. You're going to have to really narrow it down a lot for yourself though as to what you're looking for. Big luxobarge cruiser? Muscle Car? There are certainly a lot of great choices to be made in the 60's. What car did you love growing up? What movie do you watch over and over just to watch a certain car or chase? I've always been a big fan of 60's and early 70's Mopars. You just don't see a lot of them around here, but you will certainly pay a premium. However, if 40k is your budget, you're going to have plenty to pick through.

Swing by a gas station and pick up an Old Car Trader. I like to flip through those things every once in awhile for the hell of it. You might also come across something you hadn't thought of since most of the time you're going to have to do a targeted search on most sites.
