Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I was 26, but I did not have my own lift or plane. Wasn't going to the gym or drinking beer either.

25, still in it, buying a new house and turning this one in to a rental in the next 12 months or less.

22 and yes for now. I plan at some point selling and moving away from town.

A second income helps with the poor part, generally. I couldn't afford one (or at least one in an area I would want to be in) if I didn't have the wife's income.

We were 21 and no, we haven't been in it since 1984. There have been MANY houses in since.

                      35. Bought it in 2006 in Houston. Still own it and rent it out. On my 3rd house since that one. Just bought a house in Midland. Payed about double what it's worth.
I think his point is that the fish got low balled, fucked in the catfish asshole and you paid half price. The worst part was the fish explaining to his fish friends why his asshole smelled like redneck

24 - lived there 5-years, did a lot of work but sold it for a nice profit. Made a good buy on the second one and lived in it for 6-years. Managed to sell that one when the market was on an up-swing, for ~$30K more than we bought it for.

We built the 3rd one, and we're still in it almost 7-years later. Ironically we will probably look to downsize out of this one at the 10-12 year mark. With all the equity we brought into this one (and what I expect will come out of it) we should be able to pay for the next one outright.

First house at 27. I'm on my third one now. But I did buy 2 duplexes when I was 20. Good investment for a college kid.
