You know what I mean. Having to compromise because I can't carry what I like.

Saw plenty of people open carrying the last time I was in Arizona. I had to do a double take at first. Personally, I like the idea of it.

I don't see why corporations even get involved with having political opinions about things that don't involve them. Almost nothing good ever comes of it. Why would a coffee company need to talk about the war?

I'm just going to get one of these:

        And then open carry...

Well buy something compact that you like.

Must be location then. I can only imagine there being uptight assholes that would have no problem calling 911 if they saw someone armed, and because this place area is a police state, then getting harassed.

And that was a complete lie.

I've personally seen donated Starbucks products at a USO, along with Monsters, Red Bulls and even free Subway sandwiches. Not to mention nearly every active base in the world has one of their franchises on site. Don't believe everything you read on the interwebz.

This is what judge Napolitano had to say on this in 2010.

If someone wants to go on a shooting spree, they are going to plan it in a place where there will be the least amount of opposition initially. They aren't going to roll into the PD and start shooting the place up, they are going to look for these gun free zones.

But more guns is more gun violence. Just imagine if everyone was armed. It would be like the OK Corral.

I don't know that it would make it more safe or more dangerous, but I bet people would be a lot more polite!

Just imagine if 70+ percent of Americans were gun owners. Oh wait.

In the case of the Navy yard it wouldn't of been any more dangerous than the DC Police getting involved.

And it'd be AWESOME! They still had laws back then, you couldn't just randomly shoot people without ending up in jail.

Until there is evidence to back it up I'd like to have the option to open carry. This would allow me to have on me what I am most comfortable with, my p226, instead of a hodgepodge of an xds or an lc380 depending on how I dress at the time.
I guess I'm lucky that I can conceal a full size with no problems. Sure would suck to have to limit what you carry based on the 'concealability'...

They said/say the same shit about concealed carry when some of the initial laws came down the pipe. The blood in the streets prediction didn't come true. Just because you start carrying a gun doesn't mean you automatically become some wanna be cop out to dish out your own justice.

I know. Someone I know moved away from Texas after conceal carry was administered bleeting the same thing.
