                        The kit was called the Manta Montage. You can Google that for the all the images you'll ever need or want. They were popular back in the 80's. Guy in Burleson built one with a 327 in it and a Corvair transaxle. Seemed fun, but the quality of the kits back then was pretty bad.

                          One of the other kits that company offered was the Mirage. Much better looking kit, based on the McLaren M8 (?), it came with native support for a V8 and better suspension bits.

                              Man, for some reason I've spent the last few years wishing for a Speed Racer type of screwball car like that. Don't have the time or money to dick with it, but it sure would be fun.
