      • The insurance on my mazdaspeed 3 is around $70 a month full coverage... They wanted more if I traded to a golf TDI

Who do you have? I have Allstate and they quoted me $117 a month on the ST and $130 a month on the GT

Nope, nothing on my record. Always heard Allstate was higher but it's what I've always had. Think it's time for a change

And not waffling. Had to wait for the weekend to get up here to the Dallas area. I'll be heading to grapevine in the morning. In frisco right now

                  • I have a lowly focus SVTF and i pay $55/month full coverage. I haven't looked into what insurance ona new ST would be for me, nothing on my record, but i'm alwso following this thread as more than likely I will be getting an ST soon, or wanting to. Be sure to check the recent TSB for sudden stalling/engine cutoff. That is the only real issue i can see, for now.

TSB 13-9-7 DRIVEABILITY CONCERNS WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P0106 OR P0236

                    Publication Date: September 6, 2013

                    FORD: 2013-2014 Focus

                    ISSUE:
Some 2013-2014 Focus ST vehicles may exhibit difficult to start, runs rough, crank-no start, lack of power, loss of idle RPM or hesitation concerns with DTC P0106 and/or P0236. These conditions may be caused by a wiring concern in signal return splices.

                    ACTION:
Follow the Service Procedure Steps to correct the condition.

                    SERVICE PROCEDURE

Using Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS), check for DTCs.
Does the vehicle exhibit a drivability concern with DTC P0106 or P0236?
Yes - proceed to Step 3.
No - this article does not apply. Refer to the Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) Manual for normal diagnosis.
Replace signal return splice with 0.75 mm (18 AWG) wire using the crimp method. Affected splice numbers are S132 and S133. Refer to Wiring Diagram, Section 5-1.
                    Remove the engine appearance cover.
Remove the air cleaner tube from the housing.
Disconnect the tube for the engine sound symposer at the intake manifold.
Position and secure the upper radiator hose aside using mechanics wire or equivalent.
To increase access to the wire harness release the support clip from harness to coolant inlet valve hose.
Remove enough harness wrap to locate and replace splices.
Backfill the crimp with solder before sealing repair with heat shrink tube.
After wire repair, reverse the removal procedure.

I've got Sate Farm and am paying a somewhat decent amount less. Also been with them 10 years, and whenever I shop around yearly they are still cheaper than everyone else, which I find weird and counter intuitive.

                      • You could pay $136 a month for full coverage on an MDX and a Yaris.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
