I was getting my senior picture taken when the first plane hit, went to work co-op and spent the next hour watching the TV before heading home and spending the rest of the day watching the news

I was sitting in my parents living room about to leave to get my friend Brian on my way to school. I remember good morning america was reporting a small airplane hit a tower. I remember thinking that was weird, I got to my Brian's house and he was freaking out about it, so we went inside and watched the news and saw the second one hit, after that we went to school and we didn't do anything all day but watch the news. Same thing after school was out, me and my parents watched the news all night in disbelief. Shitty day, doesn't seem like it's already been 12 years.

I thought, this can't be real, it must be some messed up prank on the radio.
Heard about it the same way, except I was driving down I-20 near Cooper on the way to work. When I got there we turned on the TV and watched as the towers fell on live air. Crazy stuff. The image of those middle eastern pigs celebrating in the streets holding up two fingers as a "V" for victory after the towers fell is seared in my mind.

Yep, we were the second ship to pull out for COMPTUEX, the Capt didn't wait for orders, he said "they need us up there".

Was calling into work to see if we had any work come in. The laser printer operator told me yes and asked if I saw the news. I told him no and he proceeded to tell me that we were under attack. I hung up and flipped it to ABC and that's when I saw the second plane hit. I sat there shocked and confused thinking to myself "this can't be real". I sat there and watched for another 20 minutes, got dressed and headed out the door. The drive in was very eerie and I couldn't help but notice that there wasn't as much traffic as normal. I was nervous going to work because I didn't know what was going to happen next. We had a tv set up and I stayed glued to it. Got home and did the same.

I was a freshman in highschool. I was in U.S. history when it happened the football coach/ teacher pulled down the projector screen and streamed it off the web. Rip to all who perished on that horrible day.

I was coming out of the shower at my house in Hurst trying to wash the striper glitter and shame off of me.

I have spent 7 more 9/11s in Afghanistan.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I was in my last Semester at UTA. I had an appointment scheduled at the campus clinic for an ingrown toenail that had gotten bad. Left my townhouse to head to campus and flipped on the radio (probably 97.1) and they mentioned a small prop plane ran into one of the towers. I remember the DJs kinda jokingly saying "how could they NOT see the WT towers? As I pulled into the parking lot at school about 15 minutes later, that's when the second one hit and my heart sank. Still got my toe fixed and then went home woke up my friend/roommate and we both sat there glued to the TV.

I will NEVER forget that day.

I remember being at school, and the majority of the parents came to pick up their kids (me included). When I got home my mom told my younger sister to go to her room and we sat there and watched the t.v.

RIP to all those that lost their lives that day, and to those who have lost their lives fighting since that day.

Yep I remember as if it happened yesterday.
I was with my brother In Oakcliff handing out flyers for our body shop and giving free estimates. Internet on cell phones back then was a new concept. So it was in its infancy. Basic text and pictures only. My cousin told me That two airplanes had crashed into the buildings. We rushed home and we were glued to the TV. Anything I will never forget till the day I die is watching the people jumping from the Burning buildings To their death.
