So 3 family members were present and the peeping tom says he got a beat down...I bet those 3 witnesses would testify that he fell down trying to get away... Unless the state has any more witnesses, I'd say you gotta believe the 3 guys and not the criminal... play stupid games, win stupid prizes...

You put too much faith in jurors. Remember, these are the people that are not smart enough to get out of jury duty... Not to mention, the guy is going to be out a hefty amount for defense of the charges. Still not "just" in my opinion.

That's the exact reason when I went to jury duty, I was glad to get picked. I used common sense, and the evidence/law on basing my decision, along with the others. I'd love to be on a jury like this, and have some dickwad try to say he is guilty and was out of line. Occasionally, jury duty served by rational people like some of us is needed!

I would have done the same thing, or shot him. I also would not vote to convict him of any crime if I was on the jury. If it was up to me the perv would be the only one with charges filed.
