    A 19-year-old man died in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon after a remote control helicopter he was flying struck him in the head, according to the New York Police Department.

    Story is that as he was flying at an R/C park it hit him and the main rotor took off the top of his head. EMT's couldn't do anything.

    Yep, missing top o' the head is definitely ALS stuff. Definitely need a Paramedic for that.

                    I have heard stories but often wondered if a 450 class heli had enough power to do it. My 450 has cut my arm and leg a couple times but damn, to go through the spine? Must have had carbon blades.
                    Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

                      I cut the skin off my knuckle with an RC Airplane once, it was quick and clean and I didnt even know it had happened until blood was running down my arm.
