Time Warner Cable? I know that if someone gets fired, we get charged for all the equipment that the warehouse most likely misplaced.

"Lookin' back in front of me in the mirror's a grin,
through eyes of love I see I'm really lookin' at a friend
We've all had our problems that's the way life is,
my heart goes out to others who are there to make amends".

Disclosing salary is common and is not illegal. You could only have a claim if the information provided by a former employer is your reason for not getting the job.

Stretch the truth if you want on resumes, never lie on an application.

I couldn't imagine it being a negative for the "ending" salary to be less that the beginning. To me that just gives more justification for the reason for leaving. "They reduced my pay by $3 an hour"

But to add to what others have said, I have never heard of any Texas laws that this would violate.

This is true, it's a dick move, but it's legit. It's a way to protect losses.
