If they "give up" on you, that means in their professional opinion there's nothing they can do for you, and most of the time that means you don't want to fix your issues.

Umm.....the world doesn't operate on a 9-5 schedule you selfish prick. My brother was almost killed by a drunk who ran during similar hours going home from work to his girl and 2 small children.
