You guys need to stop being so sensitive. This is sad you guys are hurt when someone tells you that your children are fat. Childhood obesity is plaguing the US right now and you dont want to hear it. Lots of people dont take their children to the doctor for regular check ups. There may be a few here but I will tell you that probably half the US doesnt and takes their children to ER's for basic healthcare issues.

I think this is a great idea. BMI might not be a perfect way to express true obesity but it works for the majority of people. The "big boned" thing is bullshit and makes people feel better for being fat. We have to sugar coat things these days. Have you not looked around and seen the little fat kids everywhere?

I'm thin and eat healthy, but stay the hell away from my eating habits.

I'm sure that's what all of the founding fathers wanted. Government food regulation. Yea, we're free.

Send them back a letter telling them they are boardering on a HIPPA violation. My guess is they would stop instead of getting their lawyers involved thinking they have done something wrong. Of course it isn't really a HIPPA but still, they don't know the difference.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

anyone who is my friend on FB has seen pics of my kid. He is by no means fat. So those who are thinking that we are all full of shit can kiss my ass. His daddy is 6'-8 and it took me forever to get him over 165 pounds. He was a freaking string bean. Now he is 200 and looks healthy...not a straved person anymore. Our son is the exact same way. Tall and lanky.

Am I overweight? Hell yes. Am I doing something about it...yes again. My kids will not eat or do things the way I did.

Schools do not have the right to stress our kids out with BMI, health tests or the like....what ever happened to the President's fitness test? things that made kids want to try? now it's all about videos before school and after. Hell, they should be outside playing and running.

            Ugh.

I used to be what I consider fat. Now I'm simply big-boned, and don't know what my BMI is.
