Q card.
This is why I could not be a cop. Because stupid motherfuckers With the sagging pants. And the gang tattoos on their neck and four head. Would piss me off I'll end up killing them every day. And then planting a weapon on em. that or plant shitload of dope on them. The bad guys don't Fear cops anymore. Because the Liberal government has Taken away The rights from the police officers and gave them to criminals. I think if we revert back corporal punishment The world would be better off.
As far as "Profiling" it Used to be called suspicious looking.
If I where a cop. And saw a "dunk/hood car" The old Caprice Crown Victoria Sitting on 50 inch wheels. With the monster truck suspension. Blacked out Windows. What the skittles logo painted on the side of the car. Your damn right it will catch my Attention.

This individual was articulate, answered in complete sentences and did not sound like thug.
Did you watch the news report?

I'm sorry, watching that video the cop is as much to blame as anyone would be in that situation.
I don't know if technically the boys can get off the charges. However...
1. What was a push going to accomplish?
2. Were they being detained?
a. If so, is a push going to detain them?
b. If not, why push them?
3. What was the reason for following them?
4. Listening to the video, odd names or not they did not seem to be aggressive to me - until the cop "started it."
I agree, there has to be a line. You can't just take beatings from cops when you've done nothing wrong. Chances are that in the next 1 second to 24 hours you're going to lose that fight and be detained/beat. However, I expect higher ups to review (if available) video on other things and use a little damned common sense.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

The cops are probaly used to doing it so much and a re so comfortable doing what they want that they didn't bother to think about the cameras.
I have a line that Im not gonna let a cop cross. A cop pushing you in the chest is only going to hurt your pride. I had a female cop step across that line one time when I lived in Houston. My roommate and I were out late one night and going to head to the Rankin street races. We stopped at sonic then pulled into the car wash next door to clean up the car before the races. As we're washing the car a group of 9-10 cars pulled in. Everyone got out of their cars and started having a little get together. We finished washing the car and I walked around to look at everyone's rides. I walked past some guys smoking weed and then told my roommate we needed to leave. All of the sudden a group of Houston pd showed up and blocked the entrances. Everyone started running so me and my roommate just sat on his hood. This female cop walked up behind me and said that i smelled like weed so im going to jail. I said I dont smoke so she grabbed the waist line of the back of my pants and started shoving me toward her car. It pissed me off but I just walked to where she wanted me to. Then she started slapping the back of my head like a red headed step child and saying "you dont lie to the law, you dont lie to the law". After the second or third hit I spun around and pushed her away from me and spouted off a tirade of select cuss words and phrases. She had this oh crap look on her face then pulled her gun out. Some other cops pulled their guns out and we did the whole get on the ground process. I sat in the back of her car for a while until some higher up came and questioned me. I told him the story and he told me one of the other officers told him a similar story so they let me go. That female cop sat in her car and cried after I got out.
Defending yourself is one thing but getting aggressive or retaliatory with any cop isnt going to end well. In a situation like that you have to evaluate your own level of safety or the safety of others. The cop shouldnt have been a bully but the kids should'nt have gotten loud and argued with the cops. If a cop asks me for my i.d. and Im not doing anything wrong Im just gonna say "I'd rather not give out my id at this time" then just a polite "no". No one ever wins being aggressive with a cop.
