If you are considering spending that much for something to just be a garage car I would suggest doing a lot more homework before narrowing your options that much. I wouldn't rule out a nice restored classic either....the right one will have higher potential to hold value if not gain some over time.
I've owned a lot cars in my years, many that were just garage art...I'll tell you from my experience, it should be something you enjoy driving more than just looking at.

Stay away from the convertible if you can. Most of them were pumped out during the dotcom boom for new money people and they were thrown together as quickly as possible by Ferrari. Roof fitment issues are almost unavoidable, and a new top STARTS at 15k.
Look all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.
I would buy a classic car with the money. They aren't as fast and they have more rattles. But they are more fun, get more attention, and if you get the right car, the value appreciates. Just my .02.

The gen 2 vipers bottomed out in price and are slowly increasing in value now. They will be the next $$$$ cars in 20-30 years.
I like to look at old cars, but driving them plain sucks. Restomod classics are fun, but then the value appreciation just isn't there.

I would buy a classic. For 25-45k there are a TON of cool cars. If you aren't sure what you want, and want to see a shitload of them + see their selling price, head over to the Mecum auction in Dallas next week! The good thing about a classic is the maintenance is cheap/easy for the most part, and full coverage collector car insurance, even on a $50k car will be under $1k/year, most likely ~$500. If you register it as an antique, you won't have to worry about inspection ever, and registration is ~$60 ever 5 years. Buy the right car and you will drive it for free or even make a profit owning it for 5-10 years. Buying a 348/355 Ferrari would be a nightmare IMO, as I believe the engine has to come-out to do the timing belt and various other services.
