I see your point.. but its kinda hard to decline a family member lol.. I just don't care enough for people to know what's going on in my life unless they want to call/text/directly email me etc.. our phones these days have the power to group message and let everyone in on if there is a g2g going down or if there's an emergency so I don't see the need.. (at least for me)

I'm on facebook and have no drama. I keep up with family and close friends and rarely post up myself unless I am completely bored.

It's a tool that apparently some people on here can't manage or handle.

Could you imagine what your credit score would be if they took board members here into consideration?
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Yep, I come here to get a daily dose of drama.

It is a great way for me to stay in touch with family and my kids. Share family pictures and events. Not everyone has one to tell people wtf they are doing constantly.

the only people with drama on facebook are the ones with too many "friends". I made myself a rule when I signed up. Only "friend" people that I'm really friends with.

I used to be against it, I've come to realize it's what you make of it. Some people post a TON of shit I couldn't give two shits about. "unfriend". Simple. They get their feelings hurt, they probably weren't your "friend" anyway.

BTW, this board is WAAAAAY worse than Facebook.

I list this board as an interest, banks recognize the elite-ness of the site and credit channels open accordingly.

Lmao. Craig almost never posts on FB. But that mother fucker won't shut up in person. Maybe this is what people mean when they say someone's online persona is different than them in person.

No drama here, and facebook's been a great way to keep in touch with family and friends since I moved to CA. I don't post anything that I wouldn't want to discuss in a group setting, nor do I get on there looking to stir shit. If somebody puts up something offensive I ignore it, and unfriend them if it becomes more than occasional, as that's not somebody that I'd care to even know as an acquaintance.

My feed is full of first day at school pics, baby pics, travel pics, the occasional bitching about the new Batman or Miley's ass shaking, and I'll never have to try and find a Cowboys or Mavs game on tv again with all of the updates.

If you're looking for the salacious stuff, you can find that too, if you choose to.

dang it... I've been on FB for 3+ years and haven't seen above 57 "friends"... I've been on here since 2003 and can probably count on one hand the number of people I've met in person.

You can still have as much of that as you want.

I have pretty much the same policy, with a few exceptions.
