Very true...and it sucks because I've owned them since before they were trendy...with the oil field bunch out where I live you can't pull away from a light without one of those douches thinking it's cool to smoke everyone out from every damned stop.

I hate that shit! Here in the 'ville they're giving people tickets for smoking folks out. I don't like the ordinance, but how else are you going to get these people to act civilized?

I never smoke unless I'm passing someone on a shitty two lane highway. I've spun the tires in my truck once on purpose, and it will almost melt them to shreds.

There are douche nozzles into every vehicle type. Only downside is the smoke really pisses people off. I've had people pull out of the way of the smoke like it was going to hurt the vehicle.

The only vehicles I ever see in AR and TN smoking really bad are dodges with no damn muffler and 6" tips.

I deal with tons of kids who want their junk to smoke. The shit was a cute parlor trick 10-15yrs ago. Anymore I wish my trucks were 100% smoke-free.

The custom tunes on my 6.4's are VERY clean for the amount of power they make.

saw a truck today in midland with huge fucking stacks with what looked like chicken wire around them, and a huge like 10" exhaust tip in the stock location.. fucking gay, had some 20" blinged out wheels and big fucking tires with what had to be a 12" lift at least.

I have NEVER seen ANY black smoke come out of my 6.0 no matter how I drive it. It has a street tune, EGR delete, and full Banks exhaust. It's not crazy fast or anything, but it will get up and go when needed.

Mine has a small puff when I installed my FICM tune on my 6.0. when I first get on it hard.

Mine is a stick, in the tow or economy tune it will smoke just a little if I stretch it out between gears. In the performance tune it smokes a lot more especially if I bog it lower in the gears....I don't use that tune...ever...tho. Mostly for that reason....and it kills the MPG too.

Mine only smokes if I've been doing a lot of low rpm/hwy driving, then give it throttle to pass or something like that. It's typically pretty smoke free...my 05 dodge was about the same.

Mine you could probably inhale the smoke the emissions make it so clean now. They have a godamned inline fuel injector in the exhaust. Not that I want black smoke, but diesels sure have come a long way from the smelly, black smoke days.

You have an inline urea injector

This engine has a fuel injector in the exhaust tract, to allow raw fuel injection during the particulate filter recycling routine.
