Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I was thinking about a cheap little car to drive to work and back but it didnt make financial sense even at $150/month savings for me. The F250 gets decent mileage for a big ass truck.

With that being said, I also vote TDI. $24k new and 50mpg

TDI. Love mine. I get 42mpg with mainly all city and trip to dallas from denton twice a week. I fill up once every two weeks. Road trips I easily crank out more. Diesel is the only way to go.

I'm a Honda guy for the cars these days, but I must strongly suggest an Accord 4 banger.

I had a 2012 Civic and it would top out at 42 mpg, but regularly 36. The Accord is MUCH more comfy for those commutes and tops out at 36 mph but regularly will see 32-33.

I specifically recommend the 2013 Accord Sport.

kinda like the glock of low end cars...

car is ugly and reasonably priced, but ill be damned if I wouldn't trust it in harsh/extreme conditions

Why doesnt anyone show th3 prius love.

Diesel here is .60 more per gallon. I know two commuters with newer pri'S getting 45 mpg.

                    Yaris would be 2

Seem like good cars, and they seem like they actually have a bit of power if the owner chooses to use it. However, I'd feel like I would need to turn in my man card while owning one of them.

Sort of like a fanny pack. Yeah, they maybe functional...

Yeah, I'll get you a pic. Understand that 36mpg is highway driving.

Plus, you had a woman driving it. Cut off 15% right there.
