  • Anniversary ideas?

Tuesday(8/27) my wife and I will have been together for 9 years(married 6). I am looking to take her out and have a good time but am not very original when it comes to planning stuff. Does anybody have any recomendations on what to do around dfw?

She likes to dance, drink, spend quality time together, and overall just have a good time.

    Tia fellas...

Edit: we are young. She is 24 and I am 25 so we can pretty much do whatever comes to mind.

Women generally give up the asshole year 10....then selfishly attempt to take it back year 11, after a year of extreme overuse, loose bowels, and pool-water scented farts.

Head south a bit to Gruene. There are 3 different bed and breakfasts within walking distance of Gruene Hall. Assuming you like country music that is.

Friday might be a good night to check it out seeing as how it's George Strait's band headlining. He retired from touring in June but has been known to show up at smaller venues unannounced.

Dress up nice and go to a really nice dinner and just talk to each other. Take plenty of time to slow down and enjoy it.

I like III Forks, most anyone on here would recommend Bob's, but I still haven't made it out there yet. iirc, Brent will tell you there is only one good Bob's and to avoid the others.

Reata in Fort Worth. Reserve one of their private rooms. Order her favorite flowers and have them delivered before you arrive. Call ahead and inform them that the flowers need to be placed in the private room, along with lit candles. ...Did this last year for our anniversary and my wife lost it when we were escorted to our private room.

Lonesome Dove if you don't mind the smoke smell and don't watch the news.

The Reatta is pretty nice and not too expensive considering where and what it is.

Yeah she was talking about how nice the reata was last week. I guess I will take that as a hint and get some reservations and a private room there. Thanks bluecollar.
