I am 6'4" and I have done it on a child size. One of my friend's kids had one of those metal ones. It was a little hard to pedal at first and my knees were really bowed out, but I got enough speed to power slide a few times on asphalt. Talk about some fun reliving some memories. I wanted to buy it off the kid.Originally posted by Leah View PostI would pay good money to see you fold yourself up and configure your way into that thing.

Those would be easy as hell to build. The rear wheels are pneumatic and have pvc pipe around them. Deflate the tires slide on pipe , inflate. Front drive is the rear sprocket from a freestyle bike with pedals. With a couple junk bikes and some go cart wheels that is a weekend project or less.
I recondition headlights on most cars for $50.00. If interested shoot me a pm.

They are super easy to build, I built one with a buddies old craigslist BMX bike he bought for $20. The most expensive part, for me at least, was buying the PVC for the wheels. I'm sure someone has the hook up but I dropped about $30 on PVC at Lowe's. You can google instructions or youtube on how to build them. It literally took about 45 minutes to fab and then the amount of time to weld a few spots.
