                            Yep, I get new car fever all the time. Luckily from past experience I remember the new car thing wears off in about two weeks but the payment doesn't.

                              I got new car fever very briefly earlier this year... I went ahead and ran the numbers just to see. I just couldn't wrap my head around the numbers.

                              I sold the truck I was planning on trading in for $12.5k OVER what they offered me in trade! LOL

                              I'll stick with making money on vehicles vs. losing money on them until I can afford to lose money on them

                                That's pretty high. A few years ago, with a $38k lease and $26k 60 month loan I was a little over a grand a month on payments.. Hopefully at $1,800 a month he either has a 3rd car or $100k+ in two vehicles...

                                BTW.. My house payment is under $1k a month, PITI. If I was ok with an $1,800 a month house payment I'd be living in a McMansion!
