They would have been a good deal if they were indeed ready to bolt on as represented, but I'll say it was just an okay deal now....these wheels normally run $3400 for the set shipped, but they've run several specials at $2999 with about a 4-6 week lead time. The tires are $1000-$1200 for the set, depending on where you buy them.

So brand new I would have been in them on the low side at around $4000, and on the high side around $4600. Already being mounted and balanced with tpms made the used deal "appear" more attractive, but turns out that is all a moot point now.

FWIW - I'm not faulting my buddy at all! You actually have to jostle one around quite a bit to hear something inside of it, and he wasn't really thinking that would be a problem (who really would though?)...he was more-so concerned with ensuring there was no curb rash, odd wear or anything like that...and they did pass the test on that stuff....aside from a couple dull center caps.

Since the point is again being lost, let me just again restate...point of the thread wasn't ever to debate what was or wasn't a good or bad deal...it was simply to reveal what I felt to be shady and dishonest from a seller who frequents this board.

Glad it's not too bad Rreemo. I still don't really like stretch but that's my own opinion.

Thanks for posting this, I hadn't even thought about checking Ebay.....I was about to order them from American Muscle, and they are $40 each there. $54 for an entire set is a smoking deal and way cheaper than I've seen them elsewhere. Hell, that's only like $10 more than I paid for just one locally.

                          Moving on these for sure.
