If you place an add in a newspaper, auto trader or any of the other forms of selling items in the past you used your phones number for a contact so whats wrong with using it on craigslist?

Those bastards can, will call you for some bs later down the road. I've sold a few things via cl and I've been lucky enough to just use my email and schedule a time and a place. Just about Everyone has a smart phone nowadays so emails are received rather quickly

The title was probably dated and he never transferred it. Now they are going to try and get a statement of fact stating that the date is incorrect and in order to do that, they need the drivers license number of the person on the title.
