One of my wife's friends had the little pup dumped in their yard a couple days ago. Seeing as how we love dogs more than we like most people we might be adopting this dude and adding it to the stable... but I'd like to know what it is.

That was my first thought too, but after looking at some vizsla puppy pics the face isn't matching up - the jowls aren't nearly big enough

My gut instinct says yea, there's some pit in there. Looks like a cute pup, and regardless of breed if he has a good temperament he should be a great dog.

Definitely looks like a pit mix. Clutch (one of my pit bulls) looked a lot like that when he was a puppy. That pups legs seem too long to be full pit, but who knows. He's cute!
