  • Currency Trading..

Just curious if anyone on here does currency trading. I have heard something about buying into the Iraqi Dinar stuff because its not worth anything now and will eventually will be worth a good amount.

I have absolutely zero experience with this stuff so just wondering if anyone here knows about it. Or where to find info on currency stuff.. Everything that talks about dinar stuff all has links to places that sell/exchange it so that is fishy haha.

Obviously the dinar seems like a big gamble but could be a huge pay off if it were to happen. I think I was told 1000 dinar cost only 1 dollar. and before the war it was closer to 1 dinar for 3 dollars. If it gets revalued and get close to that number there could be HUGE gains.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

The Iraqi Dinar is different now. The old stuff with Sadam's mug on it is the cheap stuff that everyone thinks will be worth a million times its weight in gold. The new stuff is right about 1 Dinar for three USD. Our money isn't worth diddly over there.

There is a guy at work that has spent some money on Dinar, and if everything pans out the way he is hoping for he will be rich. But it never fails about every week or two he claims "today is the day, once the check clears my Bentley is already picked out". Yet again today is the day, he just told me about a Rolls Royce he has his eye on, and yet again today will be his last day.

I've got my eye on his stapler if he does quit.

The Iraqi Dinar was reprinted and I snatched some up at 1875:1. Held it for a while and started realizing that it is not ever going to do anything. I tossed it at 1600:1, still making profit and it is great that I GTFO of that mess. I only had a few million, though.

Don't buy into it. Research what it would take for a country's currency to rebound. Then look at Iraq.
