We had Brinks at the office, and last I noticed, our stuff still says Broadview.

We have ADT here at the office. No issues and they were quick to install. Have the wireless LED nightvision cameras set up here on a dedicated DVR with monitor. Works great.

Same here. Less than $17 bucks a month. Even cheaper if you pay for a year in advance. I did that last year and it was brokenn down where I paid for 11months and got the 12 month free.

I'm surprised the call back response time is as quick as it is with the wireless connection.

I have (the new) ADT because a buddy works there and that's what happened to be in the house I bought.

You have a 3G (cellular) receiver to transmit the signal so even if theives cut the phone lines you're still covered and can send signal. (or yes no need for a home phone line)

Yeah mine is close to that as well with ADT with the cell connection. I will be switchin to another company after the contract for sure. I haven't got any issues with the service other than the price.

Yes they offer a wireless connection to their monitoring center. We don't have a landline phone anymore at home, but if you do have one it eliminates a would-be thief being able to cut the phone line to get around the monitoring.

That's what sold me on ADT. They gave me a key fob that I can set and disarm the system with, and no need for a land line which I like because I have no use for one. Me and my g/f both have cell phones so it would be useless.

Be careful. ADT likes to lock down the ROMS in their alarm system. Might want to google your specific system, and see if you can find a way to reflash/reset the system before you go and cancel. Otherwise you'll be out of pocket for a new alarm system. Smith Thompson (as far as I know anyways) doesn't offer a free system like Brinks and ADT do. But they also don't make up the cost of that 'free system' by charging you $42/mo.
