It wasn't the $425 million jackpot, but someone in North Texas is $1 million richer after Wednesday night's Powerball drawing.
Texas Lottery officials say a ticket sold in Arlington matched five of the numbers drawn, but not the Powerball. The ticket, worth $1 million, was sold at the Starcrest Valero on Sublett Road in Arlington.
Three other Texas cities had people match five numbers drawn: Amarillo, Mount Pleasant and San Antonio.
Three winning tickets were sold across the nation for the big $448 million jackpot – one in Minnesota and two in New Jersey. It was the third largest jackpot in the game's history.
