Geico has been great. Had 1 claim and had a check in hand a couple days later. Checked with Juggz first, but Geico was way cheaper than anything she get for me. Can't be her service/friendliness though!

Those high deductibles certainly help! I've thought about raising mine that high since I have the cash on hand these days. When I was younger, I preferred $250. Currently at $500 now.

Who are you with? Mine is with state farm, I'm 25 with a clean record on a $500 deductible. I just figured it was high since the truck stickered at $49k, but maybe I need to do some checking around.

I have the backup in savings and im betting that I don't need to use the deductible and taking the lower monthly payment. It is all a gamble. Every month I don't have a wreck I... i am glad i chose the higher deductible... if/when I do have the wreck ill be upset I had the higher deductible.

I have GAP to cover the event of stolen or totaled.

State Farm... my parents have been with them since 1983 and when the agent was trying to get me to switch from geicoe... she was able to transfer their discounts to my new policies because we still had my 65 under his policy with me as the driver at the time. We also ended up geting about 6 months of free insurance because the agent was sorry that it took her 2 months to get the price we wanted to pay.

I went and did the online Gieco quote out of curiosity and it came out to $95 with $500 deductible and $91 with a $1000, so I guess I not getting screwed too bad lol.

The only xp. we have with Geico is my wife had her townhouse ins. through them. They seemed alright, but when she canceled the policy it took over 2 months to get the refund. Allstate came in about $75 a year cheaper than them too, but we have a lot of discount through all of our policies.

I'm not sure if we'll ever switch from them as we've always had awesome results with them and zero hassles with claims. We pay about $165 a month for an '06 Mustang GT and an '11 Xterra Pro-4x. We are on their Gold plan so we get the accident forgiveness and $100 lower deductible each year without a wreck. It's down to a 0 deductible now I think. We have high limits of coverage and 500 deductables (can't remember exact), just be sure to compare apples to apples and make sure all your limits, deductibles, etc are the exact same between the quotes.

Ended up switching to Geico. Also added my harley to a geico policy. On just the cars we are saving $80 a month and coverage went from $25000/$50000 to $100000/$300000. Deductable is still the same $500
