This is actually not a bad way to go. Maybe not this extreme, but one must remember, if you're going to buy an expensive car you also must have the scratch to maintain it.

      LOL!

      I'd have this:

It's not the fastest, but in supercar terms, it's pretty damn practical. Plus, I'm a fucking sucker for wagons/hatchbacks.

I've got a friend with a V8 Vantage, and it is nice. Feels like it's milled out of one giant piece of metal, and you are hard pressed to find a bit of plastic in/on it. Everything is either metal or leather.

I've looked into the cost of an R8, average yearly maintenance costs from what I've seen owners post is in the 2500/yr range.

              What about one of these:
Discover McLaren 12C - one of the most potent supercars on the road and track, with luxury design and interior.

That's not bad for something with Lambo guts.

                That's my second choice.

Yep, the only thing my roommate ever replaced in ~18 months of used Gallardo ownership was an oxygen sensor. He looked-up the Audi part # and went to Autozone and got one for $60.

I wonder what it would cost from a dealer.

No idea, probably a shitload. I know most of the DIY type Lambo owners just cross-reference the Audi part # and get the maintenance items such as brake pads, oil filters, etc from the Audi dealer or parts store.

That's the first XJ220 I've seen without the godawful factory wheels!

Wheels are better, but what's with that tire fit? What are those on the back, 225's?
