Not only have I day dreamed about one, I've teamed up with another idiot to build a poor man's version.

I can't fit in one of those, dammit!

I can fit into one of these though, once they get to production:

No, not weird. I hear that gay men don't usually think about super cars much.

Sure you can! You'll just have to look over the windshield, like the camera mount in this car. lol

Isn't that car made by the husband of a woman you work with?

Man I want to do a track day so bad in my car, but fuck its expensive. Atleast memberships are from what I've found.

Ford GT with some work or a new Ferrari F12.

                Maybe a Ruf tweaked 997 Turbo S, or R8 V10 Turbo'd

Probably a boring answer, but honestly, it would be a red Ford GT with the white stripes. This commercial gave me the biggest gearhead boner I have ever had in my life when it came out. Shortly after, I went and put exhaust on my 01 Cobra. lol Plus, I actually fit in it.

Ford GTs and GTRs, both good (and relatively cheap) options. I think I'd have to do the Ford GT, not necessarily because it's the better car, but just because it's so damn pretty.

A Ford GT would be fun, I really like the lines.\

I have this idea in my head to put a tube frame chassis under a 70's GT40 repro/replica body, for a trackable street toy.

Dude, your car with 300k would still be slow.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only person with a car boner for an r8. Those things are fucking sexy. Not the best performer, but it's a nice balance of all the cool shit. V10 (who wants to fuck with the v8?) flappy paddle gearbox that supposedly is leaps and bounds better now that they've got a dual clutch 7 speed in there, GORGEOUS looks, and a damn fine interior.

Edit FGT is a damn fine choice too.

Can you get a "real" 60's Cobra for $300k? I thought even 289 cars were half a mil now!? I prefer the 289 flatside/slabside look over the 427, but I'd just build a replica, for way less than $100k.
